We are a leading player in the building materials and ceramics manufacturing sector, committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. We are expanding our team and looking for a qualified and experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations at our Ajaokuta Factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure SOP are complied to, set the right process for good governance
• To ensure inwards and outwards are done in timely manner and with well controlled
• To ensure loading of trucks as done as per sales order
• To ensure ERP compliance is done
• To supervise drivers and loaders
• To ensure there are no breakages in WH and stocks are kept properly
• To ensure periodic physical verification is done
• To ensure stocks are maintained properly
• To ensure timely ERP entries are passed
• To have exposure in bar coding, stretch hood etc

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/warehousing environment
• Strong computer skills
• Analytical mindset with a techno-commercial approach
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a proven track record of effective negotiation and cost-saving initiatives/strategic sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, and vendor management.
• Experience in managing and developing Store teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Experience:

• Building material industry: 5 years (Required)
• Warehouse: 5 years (Required)
