Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Warehouse Officer with added experience in bidding and tender processes to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage inventory and warehouse operations while also supporting business development through the preparation and coordination of bids for commercial and government contracts.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and products.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Organize and optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of goods and verify outgoing shipments.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Enforce proper documentation and labeling of all warehouse items.
  • Coordinate with procurement, operations, and delivery teams to meet supply timelines.

Bidding & Tender Coordination

  • Identify and track relevant tender and bidding opportunities in both public and private sectors.
  • Prepare and compile bid documents in compliance with tender requirements.
  • Liaise with internal departments to gather required data for bidding (technical, pricing, legal).
  • Manage bid submission deadlines and ensure timely delivery of proposals.
  • Maintain a database of previous bids, supplier quotes, and submission outcomes.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain proper records of warehouse activities and bid submissions.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and warehouse activity reports.
  • Recommend process improvements for warehouse and bidding operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse/inventory management, preferably in the construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
  • Bidding Experience: Proven experience participating in and preparing bids/tenders is required .
  • Familiarity with public procurement processes and e-procurement platforms (e.g., NG Tenders, BPP).
  • Knowledge of construction materials, chemicals, or waterproofing products is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho) is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
