Job Description: 

We are looking for a Video Editor & Social Media Coordinator with expertise in engagement-focused editing, content repurposing, and social media strategy. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of what makes content go viral, be able to edit at scale, and balance creative storytelling with business goals. This role involves transforming long-form content into high-impact short clips for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video content from recorded interviews, podcasts, and live sessions to create high-quality, engaging clips.
• Use video editing tools such as CapCut, VEED, or similar software to enhance videos with subtitles, effects, and transitions.
• Develop creative strategies to optimize content for maximum engagement on social media.
• Repurpose long-form content into different formats tailored to various platforms.
• Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments based on pre-approved guidelines.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.
• Assist in content planning and brainstorming new video ideas based on industry trends and algorithm changes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing, particularly for social media content.
• Proficiency in CapCut, VEED, or other similar video editing tools.
• Strong creative skills with an eye for engaging, attention-grabbing content.
• Understanding of social media algorithms and content optimization strategies.
• Ability to edit at scale, efficiently repurposing content while maintaining quality.
• Experience with community engagement, including responding to audience interactions, is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From ₦643,916.46 per month
