HONGXING is dedicated to producing high-quality iron and steel products, catering to both domestic and international markets.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Translator located in Abeokuta. The Translator will be responsible for translating technical documents, product manuals, and communication materials from Chinese to English and vice versa. The Translator will also facilitate communication between English-speaking and Chinese-speaking staff, attend meetings to provide real-time translation, and ensure the accuracy and consistency of translations.

Qualifications

Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written)
Experience with technical and industry-specific translation
Strong communication and interpretation skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in translation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field

Previous experience within the mining of metals industry is a plus
