Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Technician to support equipment maintenance and technical operations at our mining site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of machinery and electrical/mechanical systems to ensure smooth and safe mining operations.

 Key Responsibilities: 

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mining equipment and machinery. 

2. Diagnose mechanical or electrical faults and ensure timely resolution.

3. Support the setup and calibration of technical equipment. 

4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and service activities.

 5. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. 

6. Collaborate with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime.

 7. Assist in inventory control of spare parts and tools.

 Qualifications & Requirements: 

1. Technical diploma, OND, or Trade Test certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field. 

2. Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in mining or heavy industry. 

3. Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical controls.

 4. Strong problem-solving and hands-on repair skills. 

5. Ability to work independently in field conditions.

 6. Commitment to safety and attention to detail
