Technical Sales Engineer

Job description:
- Identify sales leads and opportunities through in-depth knowledge of customer activities and plans.
- Communicate customer activity and sales opportunities through effective use of sales business system or processes.
- Apply technical knowledge of business unit products and services to customer needs and capture and qualify sales leads and opportunities.
- Maintain customer relationship management data including customer profiling, organization structure, visit reports, customer drivers, stakeholder mapping and KPIs.
- Work with management to develop sales goals and coordinate sales plan for the promotion of existing products and services and the introduction of new products and services.
- Monitor pricing structure and pricing levels and recommend necessary changes to pricing strategy.
Requirements
- Candidate should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical / Petroleum / Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience and involvement in tender commercial processes (Oil & Gas, Power Industry Verticals)
- Good sales skills and business sense.
- Good technical knowledge of products and services, ability to listen to the customer’s desires and concerns and recommend solutions to meet customer needs.
- Willing and able to travel to locations as required to execute job responsibilities
