Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
o Participate in field engineering duties.
o Interest and understanding of AC and DC power systems (Rectifiers, Inverters, UPS, AVR, ATS, panels,
o Fair knowledge of other power systems like Diesel Generators, Transformers etc.
o Fair knowledge of alternative/renewable energy technologies (Solar, Wind, Hydro, Geothermal).
o Participate in the persuasion of clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
o Collaborate with after-sales support services and provide technical back-up as required.
o Consistently deliver high-quality services to our clients.
o Research on technical needs, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
o Monitor weekly and monthly progress reports on projects within purview.
o Participate in the planning and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
o Maintaining knowledge of company products and services, maintaining knowledge of key competitor offerings.
o Involvement in the review of prospective client systems and the gathering of business requirements for solution customization process.
o Create and develop relationships throughout the business to maintain customer focus.
o Work with other colleagues to meet customer’s needs.
o Work with the relevant team in the processing of quotations to be sent to the clients.
o Carry out any other activity/tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
o Create reports and documentation with regards to departmental activities.
Stay abreast with the latest technologies and recommend solutions to novel customer requests in the interest of the organization.
o Participate with tracking projects that are subcontracted to third parties, ensuring they meet company standards.
Requirements
o Bachelor’s/HND in Electrical/Electronics/Civil Engineering or related discipline.
o Experience with power and alternate energy is an added advantage.
o Basic knowledge of AC and DC power systems (Rectifiers, Inverters, UPS, AVR, ATS, panels, Diesel Generators, Transformers), alternative/renewable energy technologies (Solar, Wind, Hydro, Geothermal).
o Strong communication and presentation skills.
o Basic knowledge of CRM systems and practices.
o Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
o HSE knowledge and certification is an added advantage.
o Ability to learn fast.
This role is fully Onsite at Ikoyi, Lagos. Only candidates who live within proximity will be selected.
