Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Manager to lead, coordinate, and support our Student Counselors and Business Development Officers across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience managing both onsite and remote teams, with strong leadership, communication, and team player performance management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Supervision
- Manage daily operations of both in-person and remote staff across few locations in some regions.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to ensure high performance and motivation.
- Facilitate regular team check-ins, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
- Performance Monitoring
- Set clear KPIs and performance targets for individual and team goals.
- Track and analyze team metrics, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Implement corrective action plans when necessary.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and collaboration across the locations.
- Ensure seamless coordination between departments, including Counselling, Marketing, Admissions, and Finance.
- Organize regular virtual and physical meetings, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution
- Act as the first point of escalation for team-related concerns.
- Manage and resolve interpersonal issues and ensure a healthy team dynamic.
- Process Improvement
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of processes to standardize operations across locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3–5 years experience managing hybrid (physical + virtual) teams, preferably in a fast-paced or multinational environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to lead with empathy and accountability.
- Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace, Trello, etc.).
- Experience in the education or consulting industry is a plus.

Pay: ₦300,000.00 – ₦400,000.00 per month
