Job Description:
The role demands in-depth knowledge of financial products, strategic planning, and team leadership to achieve revenue objectives and enhance client satisfaction.
Role Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and develop relationships with Institutional investors and investment consultants in assigned institutional market channels.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a sales, marketing and/ or PR strategy for current Coronation Ecosystem offerings
- Consistently enhances the credibility of the organization through its customer interactions
- Leads new business meetings and closes sales to institutional investors and consultants.
- Leverages the organization’s relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.
- Lead sales pitches, client presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
- Ensures channels (physical or digital such as mobile, web, physical branch, human-centered virtual channels etc.) are maintained and operationally available to provide services.
- Educates customers on the digital products and services offered by the coronation.
- Keep up to date with any regulatory or statutory changes and policies that might affect the organisation
- Stays up to date on the new instruments and product types being traded, and new ways to transact instruments
- Keep abreast on the nature and characteristics of investment Instruments and products
- Oversee and guide the performance of the institutional sales team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in institutional sales.
- MBA or CFA certification is an advantage.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of financial products and services.
- Effective leadership and team management capabilities.
- Must have demonstrated ability to create sales/relationship opportunities with clients, prospects and consultants in assigned market segments.
- Must have excellent sales skills and in-depth product and broad investment knowledge
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to close business
- General understanding of the financial markets and investment vehicles
