Job Description:

We are looking for a Storytelling Associate to capture and share the authentic stories of our creators, community, and brand. This role is about bringing narratives to life — crafting written, audio, and visual stories that connect with audiences and strengthen our brand’s voice across Africa and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Discover, research, and curate compelling stories about our creators, users, and the impact of podcasting in Africa.
• Develop and produce story-driven content (articles, interviews, podcast features, video scripts, newsletters, social media series, etc.).
• Collaborate with the social media and partnerships teams to weave storytelling into campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives.
• Manage creator interviews from outreach to preparation, interviewing, transcription, and publishing.
• Write powerful creator spotlight features, case studies, and blog posts for multiple platforms (website, Medium, newsletters, etc.).
• Support the creation of audio-first storytelling content — mini-podcasts, short audio stories, creator testimonials, etc.
• Organize and maintain a database of stories, testimonials, interviews, and case studies.
• Stay attuned to cultural moments, trends, and social conversations that can inform and inspire our storytelling efforts.

Skills & Experience

• 2 years of experience in storytelling, content writing, journalism, creative writing, or similar fields.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a knack for capturing authentic voices and experiences.
• Passion for African storytelling, podcasting, and the creator economy.
• Ability to conduct meaningful interviews and turn them into engaging stories.
• Comfortable working across different content formats (written, audio, visual).
• Self-motivated, creative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of social media and digital publishing best practices.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 – ₦150,000.00 per month
