Job Description:
A Store Officer is responsible for overseeing the store’s operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and managing inventory of materials, goods, and equipment. The role ensures proper organization, availability, and compliance with procedures and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect received materials for specifications, quality, and documentation accuracy.
- Segregate faulty or poor-quality items for rejection.
- Record all receipts and generate Good Received Notes (GRNs) in the system.
- Maintain receipt documentation and liaise with user departments to verify materials’ accuracy.
Requirements:
- Education: A degree in Accounting, Economics, Inventory Management, or a related field.
- Qualities: Attention to detail, organizational skills, reliability, problem-solving, and physical fitness.
- Skills: Inventory management, data entry, communication, and time management.
