Job Description:

Our client is a leading distributor in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, dedicated to providing high-quality products to valued customers. They pride themselves on maintaining an efficient and organized inventory system to ensure & timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management:
• Ensure complete stock by regularly checking and replenishing inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock items.
• Organize and arrange stock in a systematic manner to facilitate easy access and

identification.

• Expiry Tracking:
• Monitor the expiry dates of all goods and ensure that products nearing expiry are

identified and managed appropriately.

• Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to minimize the risk of expired goods.
• Damage and Loss Prevention:
• Inspect goods upon arrival for any damages and report any discrepancies.
• Implement measures to prevent damage and loss of stock, including proper storage practices.

Reporting:

• Prepare and submit a daily stock report detailing inventory levels and any issues

encountered.

• Compile a comprehensive stock report at the close of business every Saturday, detailing

all stock movements (in and out) during the week.

• General Duties:
• Assist in the unloading and loading of goods as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area.
• Collaborate with loaders to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse and safe

offloading and loading of products.

Key Requirements

• Secondary School Cert or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an FMCG environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Good communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work on Saturdays and occasional over me as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦60,000.00 – ₦65,000.00 per month
