Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Store Keeper to manage inventory and ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records, monitor stock levels, and contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the storage facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
  • Organize and store items in designated locations following safety and space optimization standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory management software.
  • Perform regular stock checks and inventory audits to identify discrepancies.
  • Issue materials and supplies as per requisitions, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely restocking.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the storage area.
  • Monitor stock levels and prepare reports for management as required.
  • Handle returns, damaged goods, and obsolete items appropriately.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or a certificate in storekeeping is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory or warehouse management.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items.
  • Knowledge of safety and handling procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in [FMCG, manufacturing, retail].
  • Basic knowledge of ERP or warehouse software systems.
  • Forklift or material handling equipment certification (if applicable).
