Job Description:

As a Principal Software Engineer at Kenkeputa, you will architect complex systems, champion engineering best practices, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-impact solutions. This is a strategic role that requires a blend of technical excellence, leadership, and a deep understanding of software product lifecycle

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software systems.
Lead architectural decisions and ensure the integrity of the overall platform.
Guide and mentor engineering teams, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies into our stack.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical execution with business objectives.
Manage system performance, security, and scalability concerns.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2).
A minimum of 7 years experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership capacity.
Strong expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Go, C#, etc.).
Experience with system architecture, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), CI/CD, and microservice
Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced, collaborative team.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
