Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager with a strong background in content creation and a working knowledge of graphic design. The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker who can drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and community growth across our social media channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Create and curate compelling content tailored to each social media platform (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok etc.).
- Design basic graphics using tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop to support campaigns.
- Manage and maintain the social media content calendar to ensure consistent posting.
- Monitor trends, analyze performance metrics, and provide regular reports and insights.
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and manage the online community.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure cohesive branding.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing social media for a brand or organization.
- Proficiency in content creation and basic graphic design.
- Completion of NYSC is mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite,
Google Analytics).
- A passion for digital storytelling and creative thinking.
