Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Engineer to oversee the technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities;

Technical Oversight;

– Oversee the technical aspects of construction projects, including ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with designs, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
– Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
– Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.

Site Management;

– Manage the site team, including supervisors, engineers, and laborers, to ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
– Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure that materials and equipment are delivered to site on time.
– Monitor site progress and report any delays or issues to the project manager.

Quality Control;

– Implement quality control procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required standards.
– Conduct regular site inspections to identify any defects or issues.
– Work with the site team to resolve any quality issues that arise.

Health and Safety;

– Ensure that site activities are carried out safely, and that all health and safety regulations are complied with.
– Conduct regular site safety inspections to identify any hazards or risks.
– Work with the site team to implement safety procedures and protocols.

Communication;

– Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met, and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
– Coordinate with the project manager to ensure that project progress is reported accurately and on time.

Cost Management;

– Manage project costs, including tracking expenses, identifying areas for cost savings, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
– Work with the project manager to develop and implement cost management plans.

Qualifications;

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

Skills;

– Strong technical skills, including knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
– Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to meet deadlines.
