Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key
• member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and
• maintaining robust and scalable backend systems. You will work closely with frontend
• developers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring
• MVC, and Spring Security frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them
• into technical solutions.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs to expose backend services.
• Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases to
• efficiently store and retrieve data.
• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and design
• patterns.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the Java ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented programming
• principles.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases
• (MongoDB).
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in the banking sector is a plus.

Pay: ₦1,000,000.00 – ₦1,200,000.00 per month
