FAA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect with at least 8 years of experience in both architecture and construction to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for overseeing the entire architectural process—from design conception to project completion. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of architects, contribute to the design and technical aspects of projects, and oversee the successful execution of high-quality, innovative construction projects.

Job Overview

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Architecture. Additional professional certifications would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple architectural projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Supervise and mentor a team of junior architects, designers, and technical staff, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.
• Work closely with clients to understand their vision, provide creative solutions, and ensure that project requirements and expectations are met throughout all phases of design and construction.
• Integrate your construction experience into the design process, ensuring that designs are both creative and practical for the construction phase.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, including project managers, engineers, and construction personnel, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Apply your construction experience to monitor and oversee the construction phase of projects, ensuring that the design is faithfully executed and construction processes are efficient.
• Review construction documents and drawings to ensure they meet quality standards, building codes, and regulations.
• Maintain a strong focus on detail in every aspect of design and construction, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality in architectural work.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed design documentation and construction specifications, ensuring they are clear, comprehensive, and accurate.
• Ensure that all elements of the project—whether architectural, structural, or aesthetic—align with the overall vision and meet the client’s expectations.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as an architect, with a strong background in both design and construction.
• Proven experience managing teams and overseeing construction projects.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, InDesign etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and inspire a team.
• Creative, innovative, and able to think outside the box to develop unique design solutions.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
• Strong project management skills, including budget oversight, scheduling, and resource management.
