Job Description:

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Special Needs Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and families to create inclusive and engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.

2. Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to support students with special needs.

3. Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum and assessments.

4. Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to promote student engagement.

5. Assess and track student progress, communicating with parents and staff.

6. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Special Education or related field.

2. Teaching certification in special education.

3. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to adapt to individual student needs.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Experience with specific special needs (e.g., autism, ADHD).

2. Knowledge of assistive technology.

3. Training in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

Pay: ₦150,000.00 – ₦200,000.00 per month
