We’re looking for a dedicated Security Staff member to help us maintain a safe and secure environment for our customers and team at our bustling supermarket.

What You’ll Do:

• Monitor and patrol the supermarket premises to deter theft and ensure customer safety.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, disturbances, or potential security breaches.
• Respond to security incidents calmly and effectively, following established procedures.
• Assist in apprehending shoplifters and documenting incidents for authorities.
• Operate CCTV cameras and other security equipment.
• Conduct bag checks and verify receipts as required.
• Collaborate with management and law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain a visible security presence to reassure customers and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a security role, preferably in a retail environment.
• A valid security license or certification (if applicable in your region).
• Strong observational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Good understanding of security procedures and protocols.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦50,000.00 – ₦60,000.00 per month
