Job Description:

The Security Guards Recruitment Officer/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the recruitment, selection, training, and supervision of security personnel. This role ensures that all security guards meet the required standards of the company, are properly trained, and are deployed to their respective assignments effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Selection:

Ø Source, screen, and interview potential security guards.

Ø Conduct background checks and verify qualifications of candidates.

Ø Ensure all recruitment processes adhere to company policies and legal regulations.

2. Training & Development:

Ø Organize and conduct training sessions for newly hired security personnel.

Ø Implement continuous development programs to maintain high standards of security.

Ø Ensure all security personnel are aware of their responsibilities, protocols, and emergency procedures.

3. Deployment & Scheduling:

Ø Assign security guards to their posts based on client needs and security requirements.

Ø Monitor schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.

Ø Manage shift rotations, absences, and replacements in a timely manner.

4. Supervision & Performance Management:

Ø Oversee the day-to-day activities of security guards on duty.

Ø Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Ø Address any disciplinary or performance-related issues.

5. Compliance & Reporting:

Ø Ensure all security personnel adhere to the company’s code of conduct and safety protocols.

Ø Prepare and submit regular reports on recruitment, performance, and incidents.

Ø Stay updated on relevant security regulations and industry standards.

6. Client Relations:

Ø Coordinate with clients to understand their security needs and requirements.

Ø Ensure a high level of satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Ø Proven experience in recruitment, particularly in the security industry.

Ø Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ø Knowledge of security practices, laws, and regulations.

Ø Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ø Must have proficient motorcycle riding skills within Lagos.

Education & Experience:

Ø Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Security Management, or a related field (preferred).

Ø Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security management or recruitment.

Ø Certifications in security operations or management (preferred).
