Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum objectives.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect and good behaviour.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and curriculum planning.
• Uphold safeguarding, child protection, and health & safety policies at all times.
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
• NCE, BEd, BSc, Bachelor of Arts.
• Proven classroom teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in an international or diverse school setting.
• Familiarity with specific teaching approaches such as phonics, Montessori etc.
• Commitment to extracurricular involvement or pastoral responsibilities.
• Passion for education.
