Sales Manager – Industrial Sales

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain business strategies for the industrial segment.
  • Conduct market studies and maintain a portfolio of product lines to profitably meet customer expectations.
  • Generate leads from sectors such as Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Food & Beverage, and Industrial companies.
  • Prepare sales budgets and targets across products in consultation with the sales leader, ensuring accountability for sales revenue and gross margins.
  • Prepare tender documents and quotes using ERP systems.
  • Follow up with clients and prospective customers on proposals and quotation submissions.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and adjust internal pricing structures to maintain desired profitability levels.
  • Plan and participate in marketing and sales promotion events to enhance product visibility in the market.
  • Provide regular sales and market feedback to management.
  • Measure sales target achievements weekly and implement timely course corrections.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database in the ERP, including inquiries, leads, quotes, and order conversions.
  • Provide periodic feedback (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) on sales progress with thorough data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, logistics, service teams, etc.) to effectively serve customers and ensure satisfaction.
  • Adhere to ISO processes and procedures.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience selling power backup systems or electrical products to industrial customers.
  • Knowledge of UPS systems, hybrid solar, and storage solutions.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Hands-on experience in sales.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record in sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in written and oral English communication.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.

Education & Professional Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₦500,000.00 – ₦700,000.00 per month
