Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and customer acquisition targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial solar energy markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
- Follow up on leads and close sales effectively.
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid advertising to generate leads.
- Manage and optimize the company’s website and social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
- Create engaging content, including blog posts, infographics, and videos, to educate and attract potential customers.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website traffic and visibility.
- Develop and manage paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to drive conversions.
Customer Engagement & Brand Awareness:
- Organize and promote webinars, online events, and training sessions to educate customers about solar energy solutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent after-sales support.
- Develop and maintain a customer database and CRM system for effective follow-up.
- Collaborate with the team to create marketing materials and sales presentations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in sales, digital marketing, or business development (preferably in the renewable energy or technology sector).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, including SEO, Google Ads, social media marketing, and content marketing.
- Experience with CRM software and email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian solar energy market is a plus.
