Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and customer acquisition targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial solar energy markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
  • Follow up on leads and close sales effectively.

Digital Marketing & Lead Generation:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid advertising to generate leads.
  • Manage and optimize the company’s website and social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
  • Create engaging content, including blog posts, infographics, and videos, to educate and attract potential customers.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website traffic and visibility.
  • Develop and manage paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to drive conversions.

Customer Engagement & Brand Awareness:

  • Organize and promote webinars, online events, and training sessions to educate customers about solar energy solutions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent after-sales support.
  • Develop and maintain a customer database and CRM system for effective follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the team to create marketing materials and sales presentations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in sales, digital marketing, or business development (preferably in the renewable energy or technology sector).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, including SEO, Google Ads, social media marketing, and content marketing.
  • Experience with CRM software and email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the Nigerian solar energy market is a plus.
