Repair Assistant

Job Description:

• Assist technicians in diagnosing faults and performing repairs on Hilti tools (e.g., drills, breakers, measuring tools, etc.)
• Clean and disassemble tools prior to inspection and repair
• Organize and maintain tools, workbenches, and spare parts inventory
• Record tool service activities in the system (SAP or similar)
• Package and prepare serviced tools for return to customers
• Support logistics in tool intake and dispatch
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks
• Follow safety standards and operational procedures strictly
• Communicate part requirements or issues to the technician or service lead.

Requirements

• Education: OND/Technical College Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience: 0–2 years in a technical, mechanical, or electoral roll (internship/apprenticeship acceptable)
• Skills:
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments
• Computer literacy is a plus (for data entry into systems)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow safety and operational protocols
