Remote Bookkeeper

Job Description:

As a Remote Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for multiple client projects. You will work directly with our financial consulting team to ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping services that meet our high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions for multiple client accounts
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
• Track expenses and categorize transactions accurately
• Prepare and maintain financial records in QuickBooks
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting activities
• Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial documents
• Collaborate with clients and team members to resolve financial discrepancies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with multiple currencies and international transactions
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects simultaneously
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (AAT, ACCA, etc.)
• Experience working with U.S. or international clients
• Knowledge of Quickbooks and other accounting software
• Experience in consulting or client-facing roles
• Experience using artificial intelligence
