Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control policies, procedures, and standards across all operational units.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and evaluations of products, services, and processes to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Identify areas of non-compliance or potential quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality data, trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Operations, Inventory, Restaurant) to integrate quality control measures into daily workflows.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, hygiene protocols, and best practices.
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant local and national health, safety, and industry-specific regulations.
- Manage supplier quality, working with procurement to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related complaints or incidents, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Prepare detailed quality reports for senior management, outlining performance, challenges, and recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Quality Management/Quality Assurance, or a closely related field
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a similar role, preferably within the hospitality, food production, or a related regulated industry.
- Significant experience in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective quality management systems.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HACCP, ISO principles).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and training skills, with the ability to influence and educate staff.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and conduct thorough investigations.
- Relevant certifications in Quality Management are a plus.
