Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and performance of our mobile applications . You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to identify and resolve issues in our applications. Our tech stack includes a Python backend and a React Native frontend , and we need someone with a strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies, automation, and performance testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing .
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to define test strategies and improve software quality.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Appium, Detox, or Selenium.
• Conduct API testing for backend services written in Python (FastAPI) .
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards .
• Continuously improve the CI/CD pipeline for testing and deployment.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a QA Engineer , preferably in mobile application testing.
• Strong understanding of mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Detox, XCTest, Espresso).
• Experience with manual and automated testing of React Native applications.
• Familiarity with backend API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or pytest .
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Firebase Performance Monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python-based test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Selenium, Robot Framework).
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices .
• Experience in testing GraphQL or REST APIs .
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Firebase, or Google Cloud.
• ISTQB certification or other relevant QA certifications.
