QHSE SUPERVISOR

Job Description:

We are hiring for the position of a QHSE supervisor

Responsible for providing direction and guidance to the management team and employees on Quality management and HSE issues within the workplace.

* Inspects organisation and warehouse facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventive measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented

* Monitors, audits and reports on contract QHSE performance and provide assurance to Contract and Client Management Teams.

* Assists in the delivery and development of the company’s HSE functions, implementing policies, procedures and systems to provide for a safe business operation

* Instilling safety awareness to employees and expected to lead by example and to promote best practice at all times with regards to safety at work in all areas.

* Required to devise the company’s QHSE plan and ensure its implementation.

* Monitors the daily operation of sub-contractors to ensure that all HSE requirements and practices are met.

Key skills and qualifications required:

* Lead auditor certified in either ISO-9001or ISO-45001

* Experience in ISO-9001, ISO-45001 compliance and certification process.

* Impeccable man management skills and can operate as a team player.

* High adaptation to work under pressure with a calm personality and expected to support and lead other staff at difficult times.

* Apt ability to problem solve, interpret complex issues and motivate others to work to the best of their ability is essential.

* Skilled technically with computer software packages and other required tools to enhance jobs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦200,000.00 – ₦400,000.00 per month
