Job Description:

The Program Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services that align with The Candlelight Foundation’s mission. The successful candidate will have a strong background in program management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for making a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop, implement, and evaluate programs and services that align with the organization’s mission and goals

– Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery

– Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, and board members, to ensure program alignment and success

– Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including community organizations, funders, and stakeholders

– Develop and implement program evaluation and monitoring systems to track progress and impact

– Identify and mitigate program risks, and develop contingency plans as needed

– Supervise and mentor program staff and volunteers to ensure effective program delivery

– Develop and manage program reports, proposals, and other written materials

– Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field, and apply this knowledge to improve program design and delivery

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. non-profit management, public administration, social work)

– At least 3-5 years of experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization

– Proven track record of successfully managing programs and services, including budget management, staff supervision, and evaluation

– Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications

– Experience with program evaluation and monitoring systems

– Familiarity with non-profit management and community development principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦100,000.00 – ₦150,000.00 per month
