Job Description:

• Safely operate the company’s Hilux vehicle for assigned duties, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations in Nigeria.
• Transport company personnel, clients, and/or goods to designated locations in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of the company vehicle, including regular checks of fluid levels, tyres, lights, and other essential components.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and identify potential mechanical issues, reporting them promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.
• Accurately maintain vehicle logs and records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Assist with other logistical tasks as required.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with company personnel, clients, and the public.
• Respond effectively to unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic incidents or vehicle breakdowns, following established protocols

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable professional driving experience in Nigeria.
• Must possess a valid and up-to-date Nigerian driver’s license.
• Mandatory: Completion of a recognized and certified Defensive Driving Course (DDC). Please provide details of the institution and certification.
• Demonstrable basic mechanical knowledge and experience in identifying and addressing minor vehicle issues. Experience with Hilux vehicles is an advantage.
• Proven track record of safe driving with a clean driving record (ability to provide references may be required).
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle driving duties for extended periods.

Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance procedures and reporting.
