Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our herbalceutical facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that herbal supplement production is carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves supervising production staff, coordinating workflow, and maintaining documentation to ensure consistent output of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line staff, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Monitor raw material usage, equipment performance, and production output.
• Conduct routine quality checks and collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to maintain product integrity.
• Provide training and guidance to production workers on operational procedures and hygiene practices.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, and inventory usage logs.
• Troubleshoot equipment or production issues in coordination with the maintenance team.
• Enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards across the production floor.
• Support the implementation of new product lines or process changes.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.
• More than a year of supervisory experience in a pharmaceutical, herbal, or food production environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, and regulatory standards (e.g., NAFDAC).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in production reporting and basic inventory management.
• Attention to detail with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦130,000.00 – ₦150,000.00 per month
