Product Marketing Officer

Job Description:
As a Product Marketing Officer, you will work closely with the Product Marketing Team to drive the success of Squareme and FundR by communicating their values to customers. You will assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives aimed at increasing product awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis in the fintech space.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, social media, content marketing, etc.).
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the cross functional team to develop product-related content such as blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, and marketing materials.
- Product Launches: Support the launch of new products or features, helping to develop go-to-market strategies and product messaging.
- Customer Insights: Gather customer feedback and insights to inform marketing strategies and improve product positioning.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment on product marketing goals.
- Social Media & Community Engagement: Assist in managing social media accounts and engaging with the online community to build brand awareness.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field with a minimum of one year experience in the fintech or financial services space.
- Interest in Fintech: Passionate about fintech, financial services, and technology.
- Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, social media platforms, and marketing software (HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.) is a plus.
- Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to marketing challenges.
- Team Player: Eager to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 – ₦135,000.00 per month
