Founded by seasoned professionals from the events industry, our mission is to make event planning effortless through smart, user-first technology, extensive filters, and intuitive design.

As we expand our platform and features, we’re looking for a talented Product Manager to help shape Spaccy’s next chapter.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Product Manager on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of it becoming a permanent position based on performance and team fit.

You’ll work directly with the founding team to lead product strategy and execution, owning the roadmap, improving current features, guiding design and engineering efforts, and ensuring we’re building the right solutions for our users. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap
• Collaborate closely with the founders to define product priorities and goals
• Manage the entire product lifecycle—from ideation to launch and iteration
• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and market insights to inform decisions
• Coordinate across engineering, design, marketing, and support to deliver features
• Build and lead the product/design team (UI/UX, QA, etc.)
• Define user stories and manage sprint planning in an agile environment
• Set and track KPIs to measure product success and user engagement
• Stay ahead of market and user trends to maintain product-market fit

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in product management, ideally with SaaS, marketplaces, or consumer apps
• Proven experience scaling a live product from MVP to growth phase
• Ability to manage and grow a cross-functional product/design team
• Strong grasp of UX/UI principles and user-centered design
• Analytical thinker who makes data-informed decisions but is deeply empathetic to user needs
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills
• Bonus: Experience building for African users or working in the events space
