Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Private Cook to provide high-quality meal preparation and household cleaning services in a private residence in Ikoyi, Lagos. The ideal candidate must have expertise in preparing a variety of local and international dishes and be capable of maintaining a clean and organized home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of meals based on the employer’s preferences and dietary requirements.
• Ensure proper food hygiene, storage, and kitchen cleanliness at all times.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked kitchen, including grocery shopping and inventory management.
• Serve meals professionally and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Keep the home clean and well-maintained, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general tidying up.
• Launder and iron clothes as needed.
• Follow employer’s instructions regarding meal schedules, dietary restrictions, and household chores.
• Ensure all kitchen and household equipment are used and maintained properly.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Private Cook, Chef, or similar role.
• Proficiency in preparing both local and international dishes.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene, and food preparation standards.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a private home setting.
• Must be trustworthy, well-mannered, and highly professional.
• Must be able to clean the house and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Flexibility to work as needed, including weekends and holidays.
• Preferably residing in or near Ikoyi, Lagos for easy commuting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦120,000.00 – ₦150,000.00 per month
