Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Private Cook to prepare high-quality meals and maintain a clean household for a private residence in Ikoyi, Lagos. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, experience in various cuisines, and the ability to manage household cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals according to the employer’s preferences and dietary requirements.
• Ensure food is cooked, presented, and served in a hygienic and appealing manner.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and organizing storage.
• Purchase groceries and kitchen supplies while maintaining cost control and minimizing waste.
• Adapt menus based on dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Ensure proper food storage and handling to maintain freshness and safety.
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and laundry.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and organization in the entire household.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a private cook or chef in a household or hospitality setting.
• Proficiency in preparing local and continental dishes.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Ability to follow instructions and cater to specific dietary needs.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Basic housekeeping skills and attention to detail.
• Honest, reliable, and respectful of employer’s privacy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦120,000.00 – ₦150,000.00 per month
