Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Engineer to supervise and support all vessels’
technical operations, dry-docking, and statutory compliance. He will be actively involved in the
development and management of the competency skills set of the Engineering Team; to ensure
zero downtime and zero LTI across all vessels in the fleet.
Responsibilities:
i. To assist in the day-to-day running of vessels.
ii. To assist Chief Engineers in any queries on machinery on board.
iii. To ensure planned preventive maintenance is carried out per the company’s instructions.
iv. To work closely to Marine Superintendents in all aspects of safety & pollution prevention
v. To maintain a history record of all vessel repairs using vessel management software
vi. Support with technical challenges on board
vii. To evaluate and maintain records of all engine room (Chief engineers included), assess or
ability, etc.
viii. To assist in engine room crew training or the overhaul of Machinery, Running of
machinery, particularly aspects of safe working and pollution control.
ix. To ensure sufficient spares/stores are available for vessels.
x. To evaluate all requisitions from the vessels’ chief engineers.
xi. To evaluate & maintain records of engine running hours, & lube oil consumption.
xii. To keep superintendents updated on machinery spaces & machinery conditions.
xiii. To supply (after evaluating) trained shore personnel, assist the Chief Engineer if
warranted, and repair machinery & electricals when requested by the Chief Engineer.
xiv. Provide information to the Superintendents for Technical and Operations OPEX
Who are we looking for?
An engineer who has worked onboard or within the industry as an Engineer with relevant work
experience, working from our Onne base office.

Qualification and Experience:
➢ Marine related training – Chief Engineer CoC
➢ Minimum of fifteen (15) years of on-board / superintendency / port management experience
➢ Ship Superintendency Course
➢ STCW
