Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Photographer to join our team on a contract basis. This on-site role involves supporting our lead photographer in capturing high-quality outdoor portraits, managing equipment, and ensuring a seamless client experience.

Ideal candidates should have a basic understanding of photography, be comfortable working outdoors, and be able to assist with both technical and creative aspects of a shoot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead photographer with setting up, adjusting, and breaking down equipment.
• Help manage lighting, reflectors, and other gear for optimal shots.
• Provide creative input and assist in posing clients when needed.
• Engage with clients to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
• Handle minor post-processing tasks, backups, and file organization.
• Maintain and safeguard photography equipment throughout the shoot.
• Adapt to changing outdoor conditions and troubleshoot on-site challenges.

Requirements:

• Prior experience or training in photography is preferred.
• Familiarity with camera equipment, lighting, and outdoor photography techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions.

Contract Details:

• Location: On-site
• Contract-based role with flexible scheduling.
• Compensation based on experience and number of shoots.
