PANEL SAW OPERATOR/MACHINIST

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our panel saw machines, cutting and preparing for furniture production.

Key Responsibilities.

1.Safely and efficiently operate panels for production.

2. Set up and maintain the machines, including performing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.

3. Cut and prepare panels to specifications, including ripping, cross-cutting and mitering.

4. Work safely and follow all safety protocols and procedures.

5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective production.

6.Maintain a clean and organized workspace including cleaning and maintaining equipment and tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 2+ years of experience operating panel saw machines in a Furniture manufacturing or woodworking environment.

2. In depth knowledge of panel saw machines, including set up, operation, and maintenance.

3. High level of attention to details and ability to work accurately.

4. Physical stamina to lift and move heavy panels and equipment.

5. Strong commitment to safety and ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

6. Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

7. Basic math skills and ability to read and follow measurements and instructions.

8.Can use and interpret measuring tape measurements.
