Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly and professional Waitress to join our restaurant and bar team. The ideal candidate will provide efficient service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling payments, and keeping the dining area clean and organized. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer any questions.
• Order Handling: Accurately take and relay food and drink orders to the kitchen or bar.
• Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages promptly and with a professional demeanor.
• Customer Satisfaction: Monitor guests’ experiences, address any issues with a positive attitude, and ensure overall satisfaction.
• Table Maintenance: Clear and reset tables efficiently to keep the dining area clean and ready for new guests.
• Payment Processing: Handle cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Upselling: Promote menu specials and recommend items to enhance the guest experience.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a tidy and organized service area, adhering to health and hygiene standards.
• Event Assistance: Support the setup of events or special occasions when required.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar role within a restaurant or bar is preferred.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage orders and tasks accurately.
• Adaptability: Able to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Pay: From ₦45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lagos: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Experience:

• Waitress: 1 year (Preferred)
