Job Description:
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the operations of the hotel to achieve optimal goals in collaboration With the management.
-Oversee guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, finances, team building, security, sales, product delivery, and staff development.
-Deal effectively with suppliers and contractors for the smooth running of the hotel.
-Supervise line managers, supervisors, heads of departments, and sections’ duties for superior performance for profitability and growth.
-Receive requisitions for materials and finances from departments for consideration and approvals.
-Supervise and monitor all ongoing projects to ensure adherence till the completion stage.
-Delegate duties to the managers/supervisors and heads of departments on work schedule, hiring new employees, staff induction training, and any other duties for superior performance.
-Ensure compliance with the statutory responsibilities to the government.
-Market the hotel to organizations, institutions, and multinational companies for patronage.
-Assist the company General Manager in setting various policies and ensure compliance as may be directed.
-Any other responsibilities as it may be assigned from time to time by the General Manager, Chief Executive Officer, and MD
Requirement:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management or any related field
-3+ years in the hospitality industry, with experience in various departments (front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, etc.).
-Familiarity with hotel management software
-Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and operational analytics.
-Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
-Effective conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
-Strong understanding of hotel operations, including room bookings, guest relations, housekeeping, and maintenance.
-Budget management and cost control.
-Understanding of revenue management strategies.
-Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and quality assurance.
-Attention to Detail:
-Empathy and the ability to build rapport with guests and staff.
Education:
- Higher National Diploma (Preferred)
