Job Description:
The Operations Manager will play a vital role in supporting the overall business strategy and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operational activities across designated units or departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and service standards.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions.
- Manage resource allocation, including staffing levels, equipment, and supplies, to meet operational demands.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all operations.
- Collaborate closely with various department heads (e.g., Inventory, Restaurant, Quality Control) to ensure seamless inter-departmental coordination.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, focusing on cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Train, motivate, and supervise operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Resolve operational issues and challenges promptly and effectively.
- Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Significant experience in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to manage multiple operational facets simultaneously and achieve results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in operational planning, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness and availability to work long hours and most weekends as required by the hospitality industry’s operational demands.
