Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Management Associate to join our trucking operations team in a fully remote capacity. This position blends dispatch coordination with operational support amongst other things to ensure the seamless, efficient, and compliant movement of goods for our customers.

• Minimum Qualification : Degree
• Experience Level : Entry level
• Experience Length : 2 years

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers and vehicles for deliveries and pickups based on load requirements, availability, and delivery timelines.
• Load sourcing for drivers and owner-operators
• Email Management
• Monitor shipments and vehicle statuses in real-time using GPS software, providing timely updates to internal teams and customers.
• Invoicing and collection
• Maintain regular communication with drivers to relay instructions, resolve issues, and handle on-road disruptions.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping of driver logs, rate confirmations and delivery documentation
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for trucking companies
• Coordinate remotely with warehouse staff, carriers, and third-party logistics partners to support efficient loading/unloading and delivery scheduling
• Prepare operational reports and analyse key performance indicators to support decision-making
• Respond promptly to service disruptions, delays, and customer service issues, providing effective solutions
• Provide guidance or support to team members and drivers, even in a remote context
• Any other responsibility as assigned

Requirements:

• 2 years experience
• Degree in a related field
