Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and verify all onshore construction execution activities.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, technical specs, and Shell’s QHSE standards.
• Plan and execute onshore construction and installation tasks.
• Check mobilization processes, equipment readiness, and certifications.
• Identify critical equipment and lifting operations.
• Monitor site activities, ensuring compliance with procedures and safety protocols.
• Participate in daily site meetings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project standards and procedures.
• Oversee permit-to-work systems, lift plans, hazard assessments, and chemical handling protocols.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure documentation is in place.
• Track project progress, address issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper site cleanup and demobilization post-construction.
• Contribute to constructability reviews, risk assessments, and safety evaluations.
• Lead safety systems implementation and manage PTW processes.
• Develop resource plans and forecasts.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; must be a Registered Professional Engineer.
• Experience:
• 10+ years in offshore oil & gas facility design and construction.
• Strong project management support experience.
• Experience in systems integration and technical interface management.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of project and construction management practices.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (API, ASME, ANSI, etc.).
• Excellent contract management and delivery using third-party contractors.
• Proven track record in delivering brownfield projects.
• Strong HSE leadership and commitment.
• Experience in engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
• Skilled in stakeholder management and communication.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing projects over $5MM in value.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, diverse environment.
• Energetic, self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong leadership traits.

Salary: N800,000-N1,000,000
