Job Description:

• Taybuwtah International School is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to lead music education across various grade levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured music lessons in line with the Nigerian and British curricula
• Teach students how to read music, play instruments, and understand musical theory and history
• Organize and prepare students for school performances, concerts, and special events
• Encourage creative expression through singing, instrumental practice, and composition
• Manage and maintain music instruments and classroom resources
• Identify and support students with exceptional musical talents
• Incorporate digital tools and audio-visual materials to enhance learning
• Participate in school programs, meetings, and extracurricular activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Music Education, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a school setting
• Proficiency in at least one musical instrument
• Strong knowledge of music theory, composition, and performance techniques
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work with students of varying skill levels and backgrounds
• Creativity, patience, and passion for music and teaching.

Salary: N70,000 – N100,000 net monthly.
