We are seeking qualified Medical Officers with 3+ post-NYSC experience to join our growing medical team. The Medical Officer will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patient care, providing medical consultation, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment. The role requires individuals who are empathetic, efficient, and able to communicate clearly with both patients and colleagues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other medical staff for coordinated patient care
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all patient interactions
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and healthy living
- Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement activities
- Uphold ethical medical practices and institutional policies
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements
- Exhibit excellent communication skills in both patient and team interactions
- Foster teamwork and mutual respect among clinical staff
