Job Description:
The role involves being the primary touchpoint for customers across social platforms to drive meaningful business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Customer Engagement: Actively monitor and respond to direct messages across all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Engage with potential customers who show interest in our educational products and guide them through the purchasing journey.
- Lead Conversion & Sales Support: Convert social media inquiries into actual sales of ebooks, courses, and other digital products. Use persuasive communication techniques to address customer concerns, explain product benefits, and close sales through social media channels.
- Customer Journey Management: Manage the entire customer experience from initial social media contact to successful purchase completion. Follow up with prospects who haven’t completed purchases and provide personalized support to increase conversion rates.
- Community Building & Engagement: Build and nurture online communities around our educational content. Create engaging conversations that naturally lead to product interest and encourage word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied customers.
- Customer Support & Success: Provide exceptional customer support for existing customers who reach out via social media. Handle queries about course access, technical issues, and product recommendations to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track and report on social media engagement metrics, conversion rates, and sales generated through social channels. Provide insights on customer behavior and preferences to inform marketing strategies and product development.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, customer success, or digital sales roles.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and social media management tools.
- Strong communication and persuasive writing skills with ability to convert conversations into sales.
- Experience in customer service and relationship management with focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets through social media or digital channels.
- Experience in e-learning, digital products, or educational technology industry preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport quickly and handle customer objections professionally.
- Deep understanding of social media customer behavior and best practices for social selling.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer conversations simultaneously while maintaining quality.
- Passion for education and helping customers find the right learning solutions for their needs.
