Job Description:

An LMS Trainer, also known as a Learning Management System Trainer, is responsible for providing training and support to users on how to effectively navigate and utilize the features of a company’s Learning Management System (LMS), including creating courses, managing learner progress, accessing content, and troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring smooth adoption and optimal use of the platform across the organization; they often collaborate with the Learning and Development team to tailor training based on user roles and specific needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • LMS User Training:Deliver comprehensive training sessions to employees at all levels, covering basic LMS navigation, course enrollment, content access, completion tracking, and assessment features.
  • Customization and Configuration:Assist in customizing the LMS interface, setting up learning paths, creating user roles, and managing course access permissions based on organizational requirements.
  • Content Development Support:Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging and effective online training content within the LMS, including instructional design, multimedia elements, and assessments.
  • Technical Support:Troubleshoot technical issues users encounter while using the LMS, provide troubleshooting guides, and escalate complex problems to the IT team when needed.
  • Reporting and Analytics:Generate reports on LMS usage, learner progress, course completion rates, and identify areas for improvement based on data analysis.
  • User Onboarding:Provide new employee onboarding training on how to utilize the LMS to access required training modules.
  • Feedback Collection:Gather feedback from users regarding the LMS functionality, usability, and training effectiveness to inform future improvements.

Required Skills:

  • LMS Expertise:Thorough understanding of LMS functionalities, features, and administration capabilities of the specific platform used within the organization.
  • Instructional Design:Knowledge of instructional design principles to create effective and engaging online learning experiences.
  • Technical Proficiency:Basic understanding of web technologies, including HTML, and ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts and provide effective training delivery.
  • Presentation Skills:Confidence in delivering presentations and facilitating virtual training sessions.
  • Problem-Solving:Ability to identify and resolve user issues with the LMS efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦150,000.00 – ₦250,000.00 per month
