Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled human capital specialist for recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining talents in our organization. The role is highly efficient in the field and makes a meaningful impact through consulting, workshops, resource creation, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law and legal procedure, responsible for the alignment, recruitment, growth, and retention of the people within our group establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced expertise across a broad range of human capital topics, including recruiting, onboarding, development, compensation, organizational design, leadership, culture, communication, management, and performance.
- Primarily responsible for the overall development and growth of the Human Capital Office of the organisation in alignment with its strategic plan and objectives.
- Effectively grow the clientele base and manage the clients’ human resources needs promptly and efficiently.
- Provide support to the management team in the execution of the company’s Human Capital strategy as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide practical and creative inputs to the development of new business initiatives/clients.
- Support current and future business needs of the company and provide end-to-end human resource management service for our clients.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Develop and execute an operational business plan aligned with the overall business strategy whilst ensuring its successful delivery in line with timescales and budgets.
- Maintain knowledge of best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Promote and support all other departments within the company towards the overall growth of the company.
- Provide administrative and business support across the organization.
- Do all such things as may be ancillary to the responsibilities listed or which may be reasonably required of your office towards the overall growth of the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (LLB) in Law and Legal Practices. Additional certifications in human resource management or corporate communications are a plus.
- 4 years of proven experience in human resource management, corporate ethics compliance, communications or a related field, preferably in the financial services or similar industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies.
- Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams across multiple geographies.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of building successful client relationships and winning new businesses.
- Relevant experience in budgeting, strategic planning and business development.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong project management and administration skills.
