Lead Generator – Sales Officer

Job Description:

The Lead Generator is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities by reaching out to potential customers, qualifying leads, and nurturing relationships to support the sales team. The role involves researching target markets, engaging prospects through various channels, and setting up meetings or calls for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospecting & Research: Identify and research potential leads through online sources, social media, business directories, and industry events.
• Cold Calling & Outreach: Initiate outbound calls, emails, and messages to prospective customers to introduce company products/services.
• Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with business goals.
• CRM Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) software with accurate lead details and status.
• Follow-ups: Conduct follow-up communications to nurture leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align lead generation strategies with business objectives.
• Reporting: Track and report lead generation performance, conversion rates, and other key metrics.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Number of leads generated per week/month
• Lead conversion rate (qualified leads vs. contacts leads)
• Number of appointments scheduled for the sales team
• Response rate to outreach efforts
• CRM data accuracy and management

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in lead generation, telemarketing, or sales-related roles
• Strong communication and persuasion skills
• Ability to conduct market research and identify potential clients
• Proficiency in CRM software and lead tracking tools
• Ability to work independently and meet targets
• Knowledge of the industry and target market is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦200,000.00 – ₦250,000.00 per month
